Made with Deadstock Leather
We source our leather from fashion industry leftovers.
Every year, 6.3 million tons of textiles are wasted during the design and production process. Because leather is a natural product, full of defects, off grain, stretch/ growth/ injury marks, 12-15% can be wasted during the production and manufacturing process. For one single medium size tannery, for example, that could mean 20,000 square feet of "deadstock" leather every month. We work with these skins to keep them in circulation and out of landfills, delivering a product you'd never know was made from waste.
I’ve been obsessed with this bag since I discovered it somewhere through ig in late 2020. I kept yammering on about it - how much I loved the style (a crossbody and an elbow strap on a bucket bag?!? Come to me!!), how much I loved the recycled leather, how cool I think the mission is. My bf heard and listened. I had gotten distracted by other things (read: idk all of 2021?) and had forgotten about it. Much to my surprise, my dude gave it to me for Christmas 2021. I was so happy and delighted. As we’re rounding the corner to upcoming, holiday seasons I urge all partners to buy this bag for their handbag carrying loved ones! It’s the perfect size and timelessly stylish. Feel free to buy one for me tooooo!!
Ordered the larger mini in croc and fell in love but decided I also wanted to have a smaller version for the lighter carrying days and it did not disappoint. Great quality and the perfect mini size for me. Buy it!
The bag is absolutely gorgeous & has become my everyday bag. Love that it's made from recycled leather scraps!
