Modern Luxury, Made Differently.

Named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies — 2026

A smarter approach to Italian craftsmanship.

After more than a decade working inside corporate fashion, founder Dana Cohen saw how excess had become standard — materials over-ordered, fabrics unused, beautifully made products marked down before they were ever worn.

HYER GOODS was created to offer another way.

The Journey

I spent over ten years working in corporate fashion, where I witnessed how much was produced — and how much went unused.

Rolls of fabric. Surplus leather. Perfectly good materials without a purpose.

It wasn’t a lack of creativity. It was a system built on volume.

I began to ask a simple question:

What if we started with what already exists?

HYER GOODS began with the belief that exceptional design doesn’t require excess — just intention.

A Smarter Way to Create Luxury

HYER GOODS creates Italian leather handbags using premium deadstock materials left over from luxury fashion houses.

These are not scraps. They are high-grade leathers sourced from the same top-tier tanneries that supply the world’s most respected brands — materials produced to exacting standards, but no longer needed once production runs are complete.

Instead of commissioning new leather, we begin with what already exists.

Our bags are crafted in Italy in small batches, in family-owned factories with generations of expertise. By sourcing materials close to where they are made, we reduce unnecessary transportation while maintaining close oversight of quality.

The craftsmanship is traditional. The model is not.

We produce in limited quantities, guided by available materials rather than aggressive growth targets. Each collection is shaped by what is already in circulation.

Luxury, reimagined through intention.

Designed for Longevity

We believe modern luxury should feel considered — not excessive or exclusive.

Our pieces are designed to move with you through seasons and stages of life. Clean lines. Structured silhouettes. Materials that develop character over time.

A product that lasts decades is more responsible than one designed for a season.

We embrace a different relationship with consumption: fewer, better things. Pieces that are worn often, repaired when needed, and passed on when their story with you is complete.

Sustainability, for us, is not a trend. It is a commitment to longevity.

HYER GOODS exists for those who appreciate beautiful things — and care how they are made.
