Small-batch craftsmanship • Trusted partnerships • Thoughtful production.

At HYER GOODS, ethical manufacturing is at the heart of everything we do. We partner with small, family-owned workshops in Italy and New York City who share our commitment to quality, transparency, and responsible manufacturing.

Our Manufacturing Method:

Small Workshops, Not Mass Production

We intentionally work with smaller, independent workshops rather than large-scale factories focused on volume.

Our leather goods are produced in family-owned ateliers in Italy with generations of experience in craftsmanship. Select woven leather pieces are hand-woven in India. Our knitwear is made in New York City in one of the last remaining factories here. We visit frequently and can ensure fair labor conditions.

Working at a smaller scale allows us to:

• Maintain direct relationships with the people who make our goods

• Oversee quality closely

• Produce in limited quantities

• Avoid unnecessary overproduction

We believe ethical manufacturing is not only about compliance — it is about partnership. By collaborating with workshops that value their craft and their workers, we ensure that every piece reflects both skill and care.

Made in Italy & New York City

Our Italian partners operate in regions known for some of the world’s highest leather production standards. Many of these workshops support heritage luxury houses and bring decades of technical expertise to their work.

Because we source much of our deadstock leather near where our goods are produced, we reduce unnecessary transportation while maintaining close oversight of quality.

In New York City, we collaborate with a small, local knitwear factory that shares our commitment to responsible production and fair labor practices.

By keeping our supply chain intentionally small and close to home, we are able to prioritize:

• Safe working environments

• Fair wages in accordance with local laws

• Clear communication and accountability

• Long-term relationships over transactional production

Craftsmanship and ethics go hand in hand.

Our Standards

Our Expectations

Every partner we work with must comply with all applicable local and national labor, environmental, and human rights laws. We require:

• Compliance with local and national labor laws

• Safe and healthy working conditions

• Fair wages and legal protections

• Transparency regarding sourcing and subcontracting

As a small, growing company, we do not conduct third-party audits at this time. Instead, we maintain close, direct communication with our manufacturing partners and require written agreements outlining our social and environmental expectations.

Our goal is continuous improvement — strengthening relationships, increasing transparency, and refining our processes as we grow.

Responsible production is not a checklist. It is an ongoing commitment.
