Upcycled Leather Fanny Pack

This fanny pack is a go-to bag for me. It’s been to brunch and it’s traveled around Europe. No matter what I put it through, it always looks great - and it holds all my stuff!

My best friend gave me this bag as a gift. Love this buttery leather fanny bag. But PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE move the zipper up higher or on top of the bag in order to provide more content space. The zipper location is too low and its hard my items stay inside when I unzip it. Please also consider making more colors such as ivory/beige, light pink, mauve, and bright fun colors! I'm a fan but not of the zipper.

ive been looking (ad nauseam) for a new fanny pack to replace the small black leather one i had. This is SO close. My main issue is the belt/strap. Without the extender it fits (tightly) above my hips at its loosest setting. WITH the extender, even at it's tightest setting, it's too loose and starts to fall down. I am a size 6/8 which is... statistically a pretty common size. Really surprised no one else has mentioned this (or are they all wearing it as a cross-body?). The other issue is- it looks beautiful but is very stiff and the material in front of the zipper makes getting in and out often less accessible.

I purchased the small Fanny pack in the tan color and I love it! The leather is pebbled and this color is structured, which I like. The straps are the best- there is an extender piece for when you want to wear it crossbody that can be removed for wear on your waist. Perfect little pack!

I look for the most long lasting waist pack... which are usually made from 100% nylon... but this time i wanted something more natural... after wearing this daily for a couple weeks i feel this one will keep me company for years to come. Thanks a billion!

Okay, so I need to start by saying I spent YEARS wishing I was cool enough to wear a Fanny pack. I just thought that it would never fit my personality and that I would always look like I was trying (& failing) to be cool. I took a chance with this one and I am BLOWN AWAY! I wear this multiple times a week. It's amazing quality & goes with almost every outfit. It's the perfect size. I cannot say enough good about it! The only negative is that my husband also loves it so I have been forced to share. If you're looking for THE Fanny pack, this is it. Enjoy!!!

UPDATE: Dana has been very responsive and immediately sent me over a new bag. The version she sent over had the zipper replaced with a solid YKK zipper (very reliable and sturdy), and the clip is also very solid. Happy with the purchase and happy to support a brand that's considerate of the environment.

PROS: It's discrete, simple, functional and stylish. I've used this bag pretty frequently and it's the perfect size for going to concerts, biking, and roaming around the city. I can keep all my little knick-knacks without worrying about them falling out of my pockets anymore. The extra strap buckle is great for switching between wearing it around the shoulder or wearing on your hip.

So cute & just the right size for my essentials.

Ok, let's get into it. I LOVE this bag. It's definitely my most versatile of any of my bags, love that it feels so elevated with the soft thick leather. I had a slight problem with my zipper (after I may have been trying to hard to shove as many things as possible into my bag haha) and the folks and Hyer Goods were kind enough to fix it for me! Came back like new. Not just a fabulous bag, also a fabulous company. Big love!

Great bag for errands or when you want to not carry all of your belongings. I struggle to find a good size for my body and this on is perfect!
