Compliance with all applicable local and national environmental and human rights laws 

Suppliers must comply with all applicable local and national environmental and human rights laws, maintain valid legal permits, and implement systems to ensure compliance. Suppliers must also have adequate documented procedures in place detailing their compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. In addition, suppliers must respect any collective bargaining agreements that apply to them.

Compliance with labor standards, SEDEX or SA8000

This standard applies to our entire supply chain, including suppliers, sub-suppliers, and subcontractors. They also apply equally to all workers in these settings, including permanent, temporary, and agency workers, as well as piece-rate, salaried, hourly paid, part-time, night, and migrant workers, and legal young workers (minors). Suppliers are required to:

• Post labor standards and grievance procedures in a conspicuous place, in the local languages of employees, supervisors, and managers.

• Conduct annual, documented training efforts to educate current and new employees about labor standards and grievance mechanisms.

Auditing & Disclosure

As a small company, we don't have the resources to audit our suppliers yet. We do, however, require all manufacturers to sign our Supplier Manual, outlining everything you see on this page. We require the self-disclosure of information about human rights and environmental sustainability. If our suppliers have been audited by larger brands, we request copies of available audits. HYER GOODS expects suppliers’ cooperation in sharing information about human rights and environmental sustainability.
